Ayrton Energy's vision is to provide affordable, off-grid energy security via clean, safe and scalable storage technologies. Ayrton is looking for a chemistry or chemical engineering student with experience in a chemical laboratory to join our team. As part of a fast-growing startup, the scientist in this role can anticipate a large variety of changing role responsibilities as the team grows.

Your Responsibilities:

Work with Senior Scientists to run experiments and report on results
Preparation of chemical samples for characterization and testing
Assembly and disassembly of test stations
Routine Data analysis

Your Skills and Experience:

Undergraduate student in chemistry, physics or engineering with lab experience (may be from classes) looking for summer employment
Passionate about innovation, self-motivated and keen to learn
Organized and efficiently able to manage time for laboratory protocols.
Experience in a research and development laboratory environment is beneficial
Experience with electrochemical systems (fuel cells, electrolyzers, etc) is beneficial
Knowledge of Python for data analysis is beneficial
